Welcome in Christ Name

HOSPITALITY is cordial reception of guests. It is characterized by such words as caring, receptive, concern, cordiality, and generosity. Our mission is to serve and greet "all" God's people with generosity and friendship.

Beginning
Because Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church's focus is to share Jesus Christ with the lost, build up and edify the saved, the Hospitality Committee was organized and implemented many years ago to share the focus.

Vision
Our vision is to create an atmosphere in which people will feel welcome and comfortable within the church and to work with different auxiliaries (Ushers, Outreach, etc.) in the coordination of various projects and activities.

Duties are to...

• Provide our members, visitors, and guest with a warm welcome smile.
• Supply visitor cards for completion by each visitor, so we can follow up and thank him or her for coming and extend and invitation to return again.
• Staff the hospitality table with warm and cheerful greeters.
• Make sure enough supplies are available to gather information from our visitors (pens, cards, etc.).
